
READY TO FLY Members of the KWU Math and Physics Club and the KWU Computer Club prepare to launch a high altitude balloon Saturday (2-27-2010) morning at Bissell Field. The balloon payload included a GPS tracking device and a video camera. According to the Internet tracking map, the balloon made it to a location just north of the Kansas Turnpike between Wichita and Towanda, however KWU Public Relations is awaiting word from spotters on the ground.
Retention at KWU continues to rise
For the third consecutive year, Kansas Wesleyan University’s retention rate from fall to spring has increased, according to 20th day enrollment figures released February 11, 2010. More info
