"Jagged Ledges: Living with
HIV/AIDS” is the topic of the next program in the Ethics
in Public Life Series at Kansas Wesleyan University.
The Kansas Wesleyan Exchange
program is scheduled for 7 p.m. January 13 in 201 Peters Science
Hall, and is open to the public at no charge.
The program will be presented
by Kevin Iega Jeff, co-founder and artistic director of the
Deeply
Rooted Dance ensemble of Chicago. Jeff has more than 15 years
experience in artistic direction and choreography. He has
received choreographer fellowships from the National Endowment
for the Arts, and merit awards from the National Council of
Culture and Art and the International Conference of Blacks
in Dance.
The Ethics in Public Life Series
presentations are designed to provide programming that will
enrich the ongoing learning experience of the Salina community.
The “Jagged Ledges” program is presented as part
of the Salina area Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration,
and is made possible by the Salina Arts and Humanities Commission,
Kansas Wesleyan University, Deeply Rooted Productions, and
The Center for Spirituality and Leadership.
