Kansas Wesleyan University announced today that Salinan Jim Allen has been hired as the University’s Director of Admissions.

“We are thrilled that Jim is joining the Kansas Wesleyan team,” said President Philip P. Kerstetter. “He brings to the position a wealth of experience working in private higher education and working with high school-aged students.”

Allen began his duties with Kansas Wesleyan on January 17.

Allen comes to Kansas Wesleyan from Salina South High School, where he has served as a counselor since 2002. Prior to his position at Salina South, he was Director of Church Relations and Assistant Director of Admissions at Ottawa University, Ottawa, Kansas; Admissions Counselor at the University of Sioux Falls, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and a teacher and coach in the Towanda, Kansas, school district.
