The results of student elections were revealed during Lilac Fete, the annual spring celebration at Kansas Wesleyan. This year, Lilac Fete was held April 22 in the McAdams Student Center.

In keeping with tradition, two students – Roman Burrows, Hugoton, and Abby Ost, Mankato – were honored as Mr. and Miss Wesleyan. Candidates for the honor were required to have attended Kansas Wesleyan University for at least three semesters and have a grade point average above 3.0. Burrows and Ost were selected by a vote of the student body.
