Wesleyan University Pops Concert set for May 5

A musical smorgasbord will delight
audience members during the Spring Pops Concert at Kansas
Wesleyan University May 5. The Kansas Wesleyan University
Philharmonic Choir, Wesleyan Chorale, KWU Handbell Choir,
and the Jazz Band are scheduled to perform.
The concert is scheduled to begin
at 7:30 p.m. May 5 in Sams Chapel and is open to the public
at no charge.
A sampling of the music scheduled:
The Wesleyan Chorale will perform
selections from the musical “Mama Mia.”
The Philharmonic Choir will perform
“Phantom of the Opera.”
The Jazz Band and Choir will
perform “Moonlight Serenade” and “I Got
a Gal in Kalamazoo.”
