Take a break from the holiday rush to listen
to some beautiful music performed by the Kansas Wesleyan University
Wind Ensemble.
The 40-member Wind Ensemble’s fall concert
is set for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday (December 7) in Sams Chapel.
The concert is open to the public at no charge. A reception,
sponsored by the KWU Alumni Association will follow in the
McAdams Student Center.
Selections to be performed by the Wind Ensemble
include “Barnum and Bailey’s Favorite” March
by K.L. King, “Liturgical Dances” by David R.
Holsinger, “Irish Tune from County Derry” by Grainger,
“Dedicatory Overature” by Clifton Williams, and
“Festive Overature by Dmitri Shostakovich.
