Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities

Twenty-eight Kansas Wesleyan
University students who were selected for Who’s Who
in American Colleges and Universities were recognized during
the university’s annual Honors Convocation Friday (April
29).
KWU students selected to Who’s
Who in American Colleges and Universities must be of junior
or senior standing, have a cumulative grade point average
of at least 2.80, be a fulltime student, plan to graduate
from Kansas Wesleyan University, be active in campus and community
activities, and demonstrate potential for future achievement.
The procedure for selection and
approval of nominees is as follows:
Administration, staff, and faculty
receive the list of eligible candidates and recommend a total
of 20 nominees.
The Office of Student Life compiles
the nominations and presents the 40 leading nominees to the
Student Leadership Association (SLA).
The SLA selects the allotted
quota – 28 – of students from the leading nominations
list.
