Summer Bridge Program (June 25-July 20, 2018)
The Summer Bridge Program (SBP) is an incredible opportunity for a select group of prospective KWU students to demonstrate eligibility for the University Scholarship, valued at $6,000 per academic year, by successfully completing three courses prior to the start of the 18-19 academic year.
The program is limited to only 15 students. To apply, you must complete a telephone interview, and you must file the 2017-18 FAFSA by June 1, 2018.
The Summer Bridge Program Curriculum includes:
- ENGL 090 Basic Writing
- ENGL 120 Introductory English Composition
- PSYC 120 Voyage of Self Discovery
Benefits for Participating in the Summer Bridge Program
- An extended orientation to college life
- Mentoring from KWU faculty and staff
- Enhanced study skills
- Course credits will be earned that count toward graduation requirements
The cost for the program is $3,000, which includes tuition, room, board, campus activities, and the university enrollment fee. This cost is the same for students who choose to live on or off campus.
