Since its founding by the Methodist
Church in 1886, Kansas Wesleyan University has been an influential
part of higher education in Kansas. Related by covenant relationship
to the Kansas West Conference of the United
Methodist Church, Kansas Wesleyan currently provides more
than 800 students with a faith-based, values-centered education
rooted in the liberal arts tradition and characterized by
excellence within a caring community.
Kansas Wesleyan University is
committed to fulfilling its mission of service to the United
Methodist Church, and it is working diligently to enhance
its connection with United Methodist congregations, especially
those of the Kansas West Conference. Because these efforts
involve costs, Kansas Wesleyan is inviting churches to support
the mission and future of KWU through their prayers and through
their financial contributions.
