Selection of participants
- Name up to 10 (if applicable) of your most able younger musicians who would like the opportunity to participate. (6th and 7th graders especially!).
- If the student has been selected to participate in other honor ensembles (i.e. district band, Sousa Band) please list these in your director’s assessment, alongside solo/festival ratings and sight reading, tone and technical abilities of the student.
- Please speak to the student’s sight reading ability, tone, and technical ability.
- Final selections by the KWU Department of Music will be based on best ensemble balance.
