Dr. Mary Virginia “Ginny” Bevan ’56, was one ofthe pioneers and a key figure in a revolutionary grass roots movement in the late sixties that sought to organize women’s intercollegiate athletics at the state level and taught, coached and served the university for more than 30 years. Join us as we salute Dr. Bevan, female athletes from all decades, coaches, mentors and pioneers who helped launch women’s athletics at KWU. The dinner is open to all, and we especially encourage former student-athletes to be part of this special evening.
