Nursing Visit Day

You are here

Interested in a career in Nursing? Our Nursing Visit Day provides a look at the quality, hands-on training KWU's Nursing Department offers. Current high school students and Transfer students are invited to join us during our on-campus day session where you will have a chance to visit with KWU's excellent Nursing faculty as well as work side-by-side in the lab with current Nursing students.

Track 1--Learn more about the Kansas Wesleyan experience. First-time Freshmen and Transfer students will:

  • Tour our facilities
  • Meet with Nursing faculty, staff, and students as well as a representative from Salina Regional Health Center
  • Participate in a classroom and lab setting
  • Enjoy a free lunch at our Shriwise Dining Hall

The event is from 10:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m, and check-in begins 20 minutes prior to the program.

Already have your RN and want to earn your Bachelor's degree? Current RN's are invited to a special on-campus/online session in the late afternoon to have a conversation about our RN to BS program. For those RN to BS students who are unable to make it to campus, please select Track 2 (Online) to join us in a Skype discussion of our program

Track 2--The RN to BS Information Session will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. CST and will be presented with Skype for simultaneous communication with distance learners. Refreshments will be provided.

For more information regarding our Nursing Visit Day, please contact the Admissions Office at (785) 833-4305 anytime Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
