For more than 130 years, Kansas Wesleyan University has provided educational opportunities to young adults in the Great Plains Conference and beyond. We offer a wide variety of experiences to deepen your faith, enrich your talents and stimulate your intellect.

Campus Ministries

Our Campus Ministry is committed to awakening, equipping and sending students for Christ through student-driven community, discipleship and local to global service. Students enjoy weekly chapel service, small groups, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, service experiences, counseling, prayer support and many other opportunities for spiritual growth.

Tuesday Night Alive has become one of the most attended evening events on campus. This student-centered, student-led service includes upbeat singing, dancing and guest speakers from the community. For more than 30 years, Salina United Methodist Churches and the community have come together to help welcome new students and returning students back to campus from the summer for the annual Worship On the Lawn service. Students also enjoy our CampusServe events which give them an opportunity to directly serve those in need or assist service agencies  in the Salina community.

There are numerous opportunities for members of the UMC to receive scholarships and loan assistance to attend Kansas Wesleyan University. In some cases, a 50% scholarship is available in addition to money from the Dollars for Scholars program. Combined with a robust financial aid package, this enhances KWU's status as a great option!

For more information on scholarships or financial assistance, please check out The General board of Higher Education Ministry and The United Methodist Higher Education Foundation.
