The Kansas Wesleyan Music Hall of Fame was launched in Oct. 2024 at the opening of the renovated Sams Chapel, with a goal of recognizing the work and accomplishments of those who have come before. Inductees are listed below.

2024: Prof. Barbara Marshall Nickell, Dean Kranzler, Bill McMoseley

The criteria for inclusion may include any of the following:

Graduate of Kansas Wesleyan University OR Employee of Kansas Wesleyan University

  1. Commitment to Music and Music education – through participation with the KWU Music Department or with exhibiting teaching excellence within Kansas Wesleyan University and the Salina Community, through pedagogical approaches and curriculum advances
  2. A role model among their peers, through making human connections and building unity among the Music Department and the entire KWU campus community, in addition to the Salina music community
  3. Exhibiting professionalism – exhibiting a strong character and strong ethics
