The Health minor provides students with foundational knowledge related to personal and community health, wellness, and healthy lifestyles. The program supports students interested in healthcare, wellness promotion, public health, or related professions. This minor is designed for students pursuing a non-certification pathway in health studies.

Course Requirements

Complete all of the following:

  • BIOL 221: Human Anatomy & Physiology I
  • BIOL 222: Human Anatomy & Physiology II
  • SPES 120: Personal, Community, and Global Health
  • SPES 150: Foundations of Sport & Exercise Science
  • SPES 175: Principles of Nutrition

Complete one course from the following:

  • BSHS 232: Human Sexuality
  • PSYC 215: Health Psychology
