The Criminal Justice and Emergency Management department provides many services to the campus, community and the State of Kansas including undergraduate research, workshops and consulting in such areas as: crisis communication plans, emergency response planning, pandemic planning, police chaplaincy programs, risk assessments/hazard mitigation and threat assessments.

Facilities

Kansas Wesleyan offers a full Emergency Operations Center where students can gain hands-on experience in the skills needed to enter the field! The KWU EOC also serves as a backup for the county.
