Athletic Coaching
The Athletic Coaching minor prepares students to lead and mentor athletes through coursework focused on coaching theory, leadership, sport psychology, and athletic performance. The program is designed for students interested in coaching in school, collegiate, recreational, or community sport settings.
NOTE: Kansas does not require specialized certification for athletic coaches; the KWU Athletic Coaching Certification minor should meet the curriculum outcomes of states that do require certification.
Why Get a Minor in Athletic Coaching?
