Kansas Wesleyan University recognizes the accomplishments of alumni by presenting awards at Homecoming each year.

All alumni, both graduates and former students, are eligible for the following awards and are nominated by their fellow alumni, faculty and staff.

  1. Alumni Achievement Award for outstanding accomplishment in the candidate’s chosen field
  2. Alumni Service Award for notable and devoted loyalty to KWU
  3. Young Alumna/ Alumnus Award for honoring extraordinary achievements and service of an alumna/us 35 years of age or less

Additional criteria must be met for the Alumni by Choice Award.

  1. Alumni by Choice Award for individuals who have given unselfishly of themselves to Kansas Wesleyan University but neither graduated from nor attended the university. In order to be considered for Alumni by Choice status, individuals must show a strong commitment to the university’s mission and exemplify outstanding service to any university division/unit (academics, advancement, athletics, student development, etc.). Current KWU employees are not eligible.
