Music Education is Kansas Wesleyan Music's most populous major. Students who go through KWU's Music Education program are exposed to courses designed to create successful, versatile teachers who are ready for the demands of a modern music teaching career. With a 100% passing rate on the Kansas teacher certification test (PRAXIS) and the music content test, two student teachers awarded the state's Teacher of Promise award, and dozens of alumni currently working in successful music programs throughout the region - the merits of Kansas Wesleyan's music education program speaks for themselves!
