Coyote Campus Ministry seeks to help you in your spiritual journey. A healthy spiritual life & journey is an important part of a successful college experience, helping students to integrate faith and life while growing spiritually is as vital as stimulating creativity and discover, to nurture the whole person - body, mind, and spirit as you encounter the challenges of college life.

Campus Ministry Team

Our Campus Ministry has a great team approach to speaking into the lives of students, faculty, staff and coaches. The Campus Ministry team serves the whole campus, and is available for personal counseling, religious and vocational counseling and spiritual guidance.

Special Campus Worship & Prayer Services

Throughout the year, Kansas Wesleyan holds numerous special worship & prayer opportunities for both the campus and greater Salina community. They include Worship on the Lawn, Fall Activities Worship, Veterans Day Prayer time, 9/11 Remembrance, Prayer Vigils during Domestic and Sexual Abuse awareness months, Martin Luther King Jr. Observance and Service, Ash Wednesday Imposition of Ashes, National Day of Prayer gathering, Baccalaureate, and special observances in October for Hispanic Heritage Worship Night, Black History Month Worship Event, Carols & Cocoa and Blue Christmas Service. 

Monday Night Alive

Mondays at 8:15 p.m. at the University United Methodist Church (across Claflin Ave. from campus) is our campus-wide worship service, Monday Night Alive. This event is intimate and informal, yet relevant for the needs of the Kansas Wesleyan community. MNA is a Christian worship services that seek to incorporate a variety of speakers, styles and music. You are welcome to join and enjoy a community of spiritual seekers looking for a deeper connection with God. Are you interested in being part of the Monday Night Alive team? We welcome you to share your gifts and passions.

Prayer Ministry at KWU

The Kansas Wesleyan community is welcome to join and submit requests to the prayer chain email list. Email Campus Minister Scott Jagodzinske to be added or to share prayer requests.

Ecumenical Religious Life Opportunities

The University intends to provide an active, diversified religious life program designed to meet the total range of spiritual development needs. Organizations that help us to create an ecumenical ministry setting includes the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Christian Challenge and partnerships with local churches. These organizations work with and alongside KWU Campus Ministry to aid/increase opportunities for fellowship, community service and celebration. Spiritual resource persons are also available to students, faculty, staff and coaches.

Internships and Service-Learning Opportunities

Internship and service-learning opportunities are available through the Campus Ministry office. We prioritize helping students in fulfilling KWU’s mission to serves the church, community, and the world by providing a variety of resources for educational, cultural, and spiritual enrichment.
