Academics at Kansas Wesleyan University is organized into six divisions and 16 departments. It is through KWU’s academic departments that we offer exciting and innovating undergraduate majors and pre-professional programs and our master of business administration degree—plus countless classes, which will fuel your passion for learning! Earn a degree in the Art major, with concentrations in Studio Art (2D & 3D), Photography, Art Administration and Art Therapy, or in the Design major, with a concentration in Graphic Design.
Study life science with a major in Biology, Biomedical Chemistry, or our Environmental, Sustainability and Resilience Studies degree!
Offering strong hands-on preparation in technology, this department delivers majors in Network Management and System Administration (concentration in Forensic Computing available), and Software Engineering and Information Management.
You have the choice of two majors: English, with a Writing Emphasis concentration available, and English Education (6-12).
You’ll find majors in Mathematics, Mathematics Education (6-12), Physics, and Physics Education (6–12), as well as minors in Mathematics and Physics. There are also opportunities in Engineering through our Dual Degree Program in Engineering 3+2 (in conjunction with Washington University in St. Louis).
Pursue a bachelor of science degree in Nursing or turn your RN into a BSN. Prepare yourself to help others with a degree in Health Science. Pre-professional programs include Pre-Athletic Training and Pre-Physical Therapy.
