Kansas Wesleyan’s Behavioral Sciences Department empowers students to explore the scientific study of human behavior, social systems and community well‑being. Through an integrated blend of Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Criminal Justice and Emergency Management, students gain a deep understanding of how people think, interact and respond within society.
Our programs combine rigorous academic study with real‑world experience — preparing students for meaningful careers in counseling, human services, public safety, emergency response and community leadership. Whether studying human development, social structures, addiction counseling or crisis management, students learn to think critically, act ethically and serve compassionately.
